Lipofit is the recovered oil and fat fraction from grease trap waste. The technology was developed in France by Ecopur, a subsidiary of the French-based environmental services provider Veolia Environment. Amongst its various usages, Lipofit in Hong Kong can be used as a potential material or additive to energetic resources. Due to its food origin, the sulfur content of Lipofit is also much lower than that of
other energetic resources used in the industries in Hong Kong.
